What Is WYW Directory?
A The main characteristics of WYW directories are that they collect webpages with similar  themes and sort them into relevant categories. The names of these  categories   reflect the themes of the included websites.

How can I get   my website listed?
In the top  menu click the Submit link button and follow the instructions  Our editors check every website before approval.  Tip: Before submitting a link find the most relevant category to your website, click on it and from the page where you got to click on the Link küldés" button.  This way you can make sure that your website will be submitted to the right category

Is there any conditions of submission?
The submission conditions are that your website's content is not in breach of the general rules of the internet.  
We won't publish your website if: 
- Is patently offensive to the online community, such as content that promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;  
- Is or could be harmful to minors;  
- Harasses or advocates harassment of another person;  
- Involves the transmission of "junk mail", "chain letters", or unsolicited mass mailing or "spamming";  
- Promotes information that you know is false, misleading, or promotes illegal activities or conduct,  is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous; 
- Is or promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's work, such as providing pirated computer  programs or links to them, provides information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices;  providing pirated content or links to pirated content files; 
- Contains restricted or password only access pages, or hidden pages or images (those not linked to or from  another accessible page);  
- Displays pornographic material of any kind;  
- Provides material that exploits people under the age of 18 in a sexual or violent manner, or solicits personal  information from anyone under 18;  
- Provides instructional information about illegal activities such as making or buying illegal weapons; violating  someone's privacy; providing or creating computer viruses;  
- Solicits passwords, personal identifying information for commercial or unlawful purposes from other users;

What is a reciprocal links good for?
To insert a reciprocal link on your site could be important for search engine optimization purposes.Search engine robots like good quality links.

What can I do if I can't find a relevant category?
You can  suggest a category by clicking on Suggest Category in the top menu.

I cant see my website listed / my website listing is missing. What should I do?
Check if your website complies with our terms and conditions.If it does please contact your editor.

How can I update my details?
Type your website URL (ie:www.mywebsite.com) into the search box, click search. Once you've found it
Click on the link named "Report a fault" this will take you to the "Feedback" page. There you can fill out the form with your new details. If your website is listed in more than one category than you will have to do this at every listed link. (Title, description, URL address, etc...). 

Do NOT ask for any link updates through the "Message to the Editor" or "Message to the Director" because  for technical reasons we will not be able to update your details through these contact methods. 

Please be patient when asking for an update of details, we will do this as soon as we can depending on the number of requests.
Can I become an editor?

Yes, you can! If you have a basic  knowledge of thematic web directories, how to insert and edit weblinks and you  have enough of your own time to do what it takes.

  1. Before you send your application to become an editor please look through the site  wether the category you would like to edit is free. If there is no such category in our  directory you're welcome to suggest one. We'll sort the rest out for you, ie: open a directory,  register the new domain (http: anycategory.wywlinks.com) and when it's all done you'll receive  a welcome email from us containing your Username and Password and that's it.

  2. The benefit of being an editor of wywlinks.com is that you get the advertising spaces on the pages  that you're editing. You can use these advertising spaces to promote your own websites, or you can sell  them, it's up to you. You will have total controll over the links that are submitted to you as well but  complying with our terms and conditions of course. That means you should only approve a link if there is a  good quality website behind it and not containing any unlawful content.

  3. Choose a category in the directory that you've got some knowledge about and would find enjoyable to organize  and edit. You will have to create at least 15 subcategories in your chosen main category. Think well before you  build up your site's structure (Categories and sub-categories), the site must be user-friendly, in simple words,  easy to use. Your site will be launched when you've created the minimum of 15 categories and submitted at least  150 links in total into these categories. It is important that there is no category left without any links listed in  it. Do NOT approve or submit links that are linked to poor quality websites. Our interest and yours as a WYW editor as  well is to only list good quality websites in our directory. If you have no experience in this type of work check out  other WYW pages to get an idea (ie.: Motoring.wywlinks.com)  but don't be a copy-cat, make your pages unique, they represent the real value. Get your first links out of search  engines. Sooner or later as your page becomes more popular webmasters and website owners will storm you with their  links for submission.
